Timing - Countdown to Halloween Oct 17

So, I've only been seriously doing a yard haunt for three years. (And I'm already taking a year off, but that is another story)
I am wondering when people like to set up their work. I personally have always enjoyed setting up in the dead of night.
I'll plan out what is going up when and every night I'll head out around 11pm to put pieces up. So every morning the neighbors wake up to a few more subtle add ons.
No lighting until everything is up.

That's just my thing that I'm sure no one notices but I find it fun.

I'm lucky that I can work from home most of the time so I tend to be a middle of the day decorator when much of the neighborhood is gone to work. Like you I also add more everyday. I try to have any new additionson display by 2 or 3pm when most of the kids come from school. They're the best audience coming to find something different. At 11pm, I'm usually in the workroom finishing up tomorrows props and details.

This varies though, I can be seen out there at 1AM tweaking lights or adding things if the mood strikes (and it often does).

One thing for sure, I like to set up things as unseen as possible, so it is a surprise to all.

That is exactly how we try to do it... sometimes it doesnt work out that pretty, and we end up out there some day at 3pm, but ideally, that is the way to do it for us too!

Wow, cool idea....I wonder if I can get my graveyard set up crew to work in the middle of the night?!?! :D

Looking great!

Cheers!
